The third Edition of Panjim Gymkhana Members League (PGML 3.0), a T-20 Cricket tournament is underway for its members. The matches are being played on all weekends of January 2024. In all 129 members registered as players to participate in the tournament. The Panjim Gymkhana Members League 3.0 auction in its third edition saw the seven teams – Baale Tigers, Dempo Challengers, Manas Mavericks, Prescon Panthers, Priority Titans, RC Goa and Deserts N More Avengers – battled it out at the player auction to create their teams.
The auction was power-packed as the seven team managements put together their teams. This year’s edition witnessed a whole new charged up level of PGML 3.0 as it turned out to be carnival of cricket enthusiasts.
Panjim Gymkhana Members League (PGML) Season 3 commenced on Saturday (6th January 2024) at the iconic Panjim Gymkhana ground, Campal.
The PGML 3.0 promises competitive T20 action like never before with its biggest team line-up of seven franchises hungry to lift the prestigious trophy. The weekend fare involving 15 Match-days, will witness 25 matches in all with the final scheduled for 18th February.
The PGML3.0 kicked off with defending champions Dempo Challengers taking on first edition’s winners Prescon Panthers . But before cricket takes the centre stage, the tournament was officially declared open in a grand opening ceremony to be graced by Chief Guest, Rohan Gauns Dessai, Secretary of Goa Cricket Association
